The Avionics Project Engineer III will coordinate technical design schedules, manage project priorities, and integrate avionics development with overall program objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, track performance, and ensure safe, reliable, and repeatable space missions. Accountabilities

• Coordinate project schedules, priorities, and work breakdown for avionics development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define avionics requirements and their dependencies across spacecraft systems.
• Develop and maintain project management plans, architecture design documents, and verification plans.
• Track technical performance measures and report status, risks, variances, and recovery plans to program management.
• Support avionics harnessing and other technical teams to ensure safe, reusable, and reliable flight systems.
• Apply technical expertise and leadership to promote quality, safety, and operational efficiency in aerospace projects.

• B.S. in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including managing scope, schedule, cost, and priorities.
• Strong technical background in hardware design (board-level design, RF communication, motion or navigation controls).
• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build trust, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or lawful admission as a refugee/asylee.
• Desired: post-graduate degree, PMP certification.
