This role is designed for a motivated, client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As an Account Executive, you will act as a strategic advisor to clients and broker partners, managing post-sale engagement and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will oversee account implementation, maintain strong relationships, and provide insights to help clients optimize their pharmacy benefits. This position requires proactive problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across diverse stakeholders. It offers the opportunity to influence client outcomes, support business growth, and work fully remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal teams to ensure retention, satisfaction, and growth.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, coordinating services and navigating post-sale implementations with vendors and partners.
  • Manage day-to-day account activities, including onboarding, reporting, presentations, and workflow improvements.
  • Analyze client data to provide actionable insights and recommend strategic pharmacy benefit solutions.
  • Conduct regular service calls and meetings to strengthen relationships, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current on pharmacy benefit management industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Support contract execution, audits, claims inquiries, and benefit design reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Travel approximately 25% to meet with clients, prospects, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, ideally within the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; solid working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint for reporting and client communications.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Understanding of PBM industry, insurance products, and relevant regulatory/compliance matters.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
