Account Executive, II, MSP

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Executive, II, MSP in the United States.

In this role, you will drive the growth of managed IT services by acquiring new enterprise and mid-market clients while managing strategic relationships. You will work closely with internal teams to craft tailored solutions, present proposals, and ensure client satisfaction. This position emphasizes proactive business development, leveraging technical expertise to understand client needs and deliver impactful IT solutions. You will thrive in a high-energy, results-driven environment where your performance directly influences revenue growth and market presence. The role offers the autonomy to manage your pipeline and the opportunity to maximize earnings through uncapped commission structures. Strong communication skills, technical acumen, and a consultative sales approach are key to succeeding in this role.


  • Accountabilities
  • • Develop, track, and close new business leads through proactive prospecting and strategic networking.
  • • Identify client technical and business requirements, including IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and automation needs.
  • • Collaborate with technical teams to generate customized proposals and confidently present them to decision-makers.
  • • Work alongside marketing to support campaigns, informational seminars, and targeted lead generation.
  • • Manage the full sales pipeline independently, from initial qualification to contract close.
  • • Engage with CIOs, CTOs, and other executive stakeholders to build lasting relationships.
  • • Attend networking events and industry forums to promote services and acquire new clients.
  • Requirements
  • • 5+ years of experience in technology sales, with direct MSP experience preferred.
  • • Proven track record of new business development and meeting sales targets.
  • • Deep understanding of IT services, including Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Managed Services (ITMS), and IT Outsourced (ITO) offerings.
  • • Ability to identify client pain points and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • • Strong consultative sales skills and experience engaging with mid-market and enterprise-level clients.
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • • Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings as required.
  • • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, range $150,000 – $175,000 OTE, depending on experience.
