Director, Customer Account Management

Iterable is an AI-powered customer engagement platform used by leading brands to create personalized, cross-channel experiences at scale. We are hiring a Director of Customer Account Management to transform and scale our mid-market CAM organization in the East or Central US, building the operating model, processes, and team to drive predictable renewals, rightsizing, vendor consolidation, and strategic expansions.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing CAM team for mid-market accounts within the defined East/Central region.
  • Design and scale the CAM operating model including segmentation, territories, pods, compensation alignment, and career paths.
  • Own and refine forecasting rigor with RevOps and Finance to improve predictability of renewals, rightsizing, and consolidation motions.
  • Drive revenue through rightsizing and vendor consolidation initiatives, prioritizing strategic expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Customer Success to resolve ownership conflicts and create a unified customer experience for renewals and churn.
  • Collaborate with Deal Desk and Legal to streamline contracting and reduce friction for mid-market and multi-brand deals.
  • Implement process improvements across CPQ, SFDC workflows, approval paths, and renewal playbooks.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on CAM performance, quarterly pipelines, risk, and expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as a cultural and organizational leader promoting accountability, alignment, and operational efficiency.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications a plus (sales, CRM, RevOps)
