- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Clear technical documentation and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated workflow and event-driven systems
- Develop isolated execution environments using containers and manage runtime isolation
- Create and optimize runtime environments for performance, reliability, and memory efficiency
- Architect, implement, and maintain modular systems and robust APIs (including GraphQL subscriptions)
- Perform complex debugging and resolve challenging system-level issues
- Optimize memory management strategies and troubleshoot resource constraints
- Design enterprise-grade systems with emphasis on security, operations, observability, and identity
- Integrate observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing) for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Implement authentication, authorization, and access control solutions
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers
- Collaborate closely with product management and operations teams
- Establish and promote engineering best practices and coding standards
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to incidents
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Or equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree
