Founding Product Manager

About Ideogram

Ideogram’s mission is to make world-class design accessible to everyone, multiplying human creativity. We build proprietary generative media models and AI native creative workflows, tackling unsolved challenges in graphic design. Our team includes builders with a track record of technology breakthroughs including early research in Diffusion Models, Google’s Imagen, and Imagen Video. We care about design, taste, and craft as much as research and engineering – shipping experiences that creatives actually love.

We’ve raised nearly $100M, led by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures. Headquartered in Toronto with a growing team in NYC, we're scaling fast, aiming to triple over the next year. We're a flat team with a culture of high ownership, collaboration, and mentorship.

  • Deep understanding of AI-native product development and curiosity to learn and build new product experiences for creatives.

  • Define and champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap for initiatives that advance capabilities, elevate quality, and drive innovation in alignment with business goals and market trends.

  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify emerging AI trends and translate insights into actionable strategies that strengthen product differentiation and user value.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, machine learning, data, marketing, and operations to align priorities and deliver high-impact product outcomes.

  • Leverage internal metrics, industry benchmarks, and customer insights to uncover opportunities, address gaps, and inform strategic decisions.

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure success, optimize engagement and satisfaction, and continuously improve product performance.

  • Synthesize user research, market data, and technical constraints into actionable product strategy and long-term vision.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years driving growth and product management in a startup, ideally within SaaS or creative tech.

  • Startup Experience: Proven success driving impact as a Product Manager in a startup or hyper-growth environment.

  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of product development and applied machine learning, with experience integrating advanced AI capabilities into user-facing products.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead as an individual contributor while inspiring and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver ambitious outcomes.

  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive, with the drive and adaptability to build and scale new initiatives from the ground up.

  • Collaborative: A team-oriented mindset that thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and values transparency, curiosity, and shared success.

  • Strategic Thinker: Comfortable shaping product direction from a blank slate, connecting user insights, data, and creative intuition to business growth.

  • Vision + Execution: Able to zoom between long-term vision and short-term detail, ensuring strategy translates into measurable outcomes.

  • Decision-Making: Skilled at prioritizing amid ambiguity, aligning cross-functional teams around bold yet achievable goals.
