Skills
- 5+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or related quantitative roles
- Proficiency in Python for analysis, statistics, and modeling
- Strong SQL skills and experience with production analytics datasets
- Experience applying data science to marketing/growth problems (funnel analysis, attribution, retention)
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and experiment design
- Experience with cloud-based data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing teams to analyze and optimize the full customer funnel (acquisition, conversion, retention, churn).
- Build and maintain statistical models for attribution, LTV, CAC, churn prediction, cohort analysis, and conversion optimization.
- Design, analyze, and interpret A/B and multivariate experiments with statistical rigor and actionable recommendations.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into scoped analytical projects with clear success metrics and timelines.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics engineering to define data requirements and ensure reliable datasets.
- Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and documentation.
- Contribute to analytics and modeling best practices, including code quality, validation, and documentation.
- Mentor and support junior team members through code review and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current on industry trends in marketing analytics, experimentation, and applied data science and apply them pragmatically.
Education
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (required)
- PhD in a quantitative field (preferred but not required)
