Digital Marketing Manager

Hello Alice is a mission-driven, Latina-owned company building a multichannel platform to help small businesses launch and grow. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager who can develop and execute data-driven digital strategies across email, social, website/SEO, paid channels, and emerging AI answer engines, while leading a small marketing team, managing vendors, and communicating results to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across email, social, website/SEO, paid, and AI platforms aligned to business goals.
  • Manage agile marketing workflows including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and capacity planning.
  • Create and execute campaigns hands-on: copywriting, campaign builds, segmentation, A/B tests, and optimizations.
  • Directly manage marketing team members and contractors, providing coaching, feedback, and career development.
  • Maintain project management systems (e.g., Jira) and clear intake/processes to ensure transparency and timely delivery.
  • Oversee website content strategy, technical SEO, and discoverability for search engines and AI answer engines.
  • Build and manage end-to-end email strategies, automation journeys, segmentation, and performance testing.
  • Implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies to surface Hello Alice content in AI-generated responses.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate performance, trends, and ROI to the CEO and executive team.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships, budgets, and deliverable tracking to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, programs, and partnerships to align marketing with organizational goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, quality controls, and marketing technology integration.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • Or equivalent experience in digital marketing and team leadership
