About the Opportunity
An established orthopedic spine program in Sun City, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its high-performing team. This full-time role combines outpatient clinic care with opportunities to participate intraoperatively and assist with procedures.
This position is ideal for providers who thrive in a dynamic, high-acuity environment and want to be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on complex spine care, teamwork, and long-term patient outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $130,000 â $180,000 annually (based on experience)
- Incentive Structure: Productivity-based bonus with total earning potential up to $225,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with acute and chronic spine conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with surgical protocols
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up visits
- Support wound care, minor procedures, and spinal injections
- Provide intraoperative assistance when applicable
- Triage emergent patient concerns and provide timely responses
- Participate in rounding, care planning, and shared on-call responsibilities
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and recovery expectations
- Document clinical encounters accurately and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (Puerto Rico-based programs not eligible)
- Active, unrestricted Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- DEA certification in good standing
- NP First Assist training (if applicable) in alignment with AORN guidelines
- Preferred: Prior experience in orthopedic or spine surgery
- Strong organizational skills and ability to excel in fast-paced settings
