Job Summary:
The mission of the Office of Development and External Relations (DER) at Harvard Divinity School is to connect and engage HDS alumni and friends worldwide and to raise philanthropic support for the School's core academic mission. HDS is seeking a strategic, innovative, and detail-oriented professional to join the DER team as development systems and data coordinator.
Reporting to the associate director for development strategy and donor relations, this full-time position is responsible for providing strategic support for development and alumni relations efforts at HDS through data analysis, reporting, and responsibility for data integrity. Working closely with colleagues across the DER team, the coordinator will develop and maintain data and reporting processes that are essential to all DER operations, including major gifts, annual giving, stewardship, alumni relations, and events.
The coordinator is responsible for the development, support, enhancement, and maintenance of the data, reporting, and business analysis environment of the Common Alumni Affairs and Development System (CAADS) using the Advance and QlikView products. The coordinator will develop an in-depth understanding of the data and its business uses and should seek ways to optimize the use of data and reporting tools to meet the goals of the DER team.

This position is based in Cambridge and requires an on-campus presence. A hybrid schedule, involving some remote work, may be possible after three months, subject to business needs and manager review/approval. HDS may adjust flex schedules as necessary or appropriate. Work Format Details
This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
Salary Grade and Ranges
