We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Software Developer to work with our MEDLOG IT PMO customer at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. This detail-oriented individual will be an imperative part of the LogiCole Software Engineering team and is obsessed with accuracy, and able to accept critical feedback because they are always looking to produce the highest quality outcome.
The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This position is on-site three days per week, but expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities:
Participate in agile team, backlog grooming, story sizing sessions.
Develop code in accordance with cybersecurity standards, design standards, 508 standards and style guides; any deviations from the standards require prior approval.
Document designs, unit tests and code reviews.
Participate in product evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution. In Lieu of required degree, 6 year’s experience in a related field in addition to one of the following current certifications are required: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSP
Minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience with Full Stack Development, implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
Minimum 2 years experience working on an Agile team and following Agile processes SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Solid Java 11+ skills and experience with EAP’s (JBoss/Wildfly) and/or SpringBoot
Experience in building front-end application using Angular and JavaScript
Experience using relational and/or NoSQL database systems
Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise-level application development
Knowledge of design patterns applicable to Java EE solutions
Knowledge of design patterns common to Angular/JavaScript solutions
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Experience or certifications with cloud hosting solutions, particularly AWS
Understands Bash or PowerShell
Python 3+ experience
Microservice architecture / development experience
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 2 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only. Candidates who have recently completed T2 investigations are a plus.
The annual salary range for this position is $87,100.00-$130,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
