Position Overview:
Perform critical diagnostic testing in a premier academic medical center. Utilize advanced laboratory techniques to support patient care, research, and education while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic tests for disease detection/monitoring
- Operate/maintain laboratory equipment
- Analyze specimens and validate results
- Adhere to strict quality control standards
- Document findings in compliance with NYS regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams on critical results
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Licensure: Must have an NYS license/eligible or possess a permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Experience: 2+ years clinical lab experience (preferred)
- Technical Skills: Must have the ability to distinguish colors.
