Grammarly is seeking a Counsel for Litigation and Employment in San Francisco, who will manage litigation matters, advise on employment law, and support internal investigations in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities: Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters, represent Grammarly in inquiries, provide risk assessments on litigation trends, conduct internal investigations, advise on employment law, and collaborate with HR to design compliance tools.
Skills: Strong litigation drafting skills, experience managing disputes, independent work ethic, problem-solving capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Qualifications: 3 years of experience in employment law and/or litigation, J.D. from an accredited law school, and an active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction. Excellent communication and analytical skills are also required.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, allowing for a flexible working model with both remote and in-office options.
Compensation: $190000 - $291000 / Annually

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Zone 1: $211,000 – $291,000/year (USD)
Zone 2: $190,000 – $262,000/year (USD)
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
