Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Consultant with deep expertise in mRNA engineering, more specifically design of polycistronic mRNA constructs, to help our cross-functional discovery teams and create novel drug candidates.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and polycistronic mRNA encoding multiple protein/peptide antigens.
· Design and optimize mRNA sequences including 5′ and 3′ untranslated regions (UTRs) and open reading frames (ORF) to enhance mRNA's stability, translation efficiency, and ultimately, therapeutic effect.
· Use mRNA design software to support mRNA design workflows and to analyze data and predict the behavior of designed mRNA constructs.
· Implement novel methods for mRNA modifications to improve its therapeutic potential.
· Generate intellectual property and contribute to regulatory filings.
· Keep up-to-date with new technologies, industry trends, and research in mRNA science.
Qualifications
· PhD degree in molecular biology or a closely related discipline with 10+ years of experience
· Extensive experience in mRNA design, including expertise in designing, modifying, and optimizing polycistronic mRNA constructs.
· Proficiency with computational tools, including relevant software, algorithms, and databases for mRNA design and analysis.
· Industry experience in mRNA design or related areas is highly preferred
· Ability to analyze and interpret complex data from experiments and computational analysis.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
