THE ROLE:
The Live Production intern will work closely with the Production team to create and execute multiple production assets and shows. They will help to build production elements for shows, provide administrative support and contribute to the production team with graphics, video management and show rundowns; contribute to production meetings, liaise with content and operations departments and assist coordinating producers, producers and stream technicians. They will also gain an understanding of production show preparation, on-air graphics executions, video asset management and live event/show production process.
From week to week, interns have the opportunity to apply what they have learned by working on FloSports live events and working to hone their skills related to live event and studio production. By the end of the internship, they will have a solid understanding of how to navigate a fast-paced production process, learn how to assemble shows, observe how to best execute a production and how to apply production elements to enhance each show, including writing scripts, editing, video production, and production management.
This internship is available from January 2026 to April 2026, 15 weeks.
Seeking a minimum availability of 20-25 hrs/week.
This is a paid internship, offering $15/hour.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent writing skills required, along with basic copyediting and formatting abilities.
Knowledge of various editing software
Knowledge of physical and software encoders (videon, vmix, obs, etc)
Knowledge of various on-air graphics platforms (Chyron, Xpression, Singular)
Open to creating creating video clips, graphics and live production elements
Knowledge of multiple sporting events and sport nuances.
Flexible schedules to possibly work weekend events in real-time.
High interest in the world of live sports production and sports media.
Ability to meet deadlines on short term and long term projects.
Open to collaborating with other team members to create or improve content.
Strong communication skills.
BONUS POINTS:
Knowledge of various editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid).
Knowledge of various on-air graphics platforms (Chyron, Xpression, Singular).
Experience in G-Suite programs (Sheets, Docs, etc.) and Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience in with additional Adobe products (PS, AI, AE)
