General Job Description
*Under the direction of the Medical Director offers and provides patients specialty services.
Job Roles
*Cooperates with the timely submission of credentialing and licensing paperwork .
*Minimizes incident reports.
*Uses resources efficiently and practices medicine in a cost-effective manner.
*Documents appropriately in the medical record: medication reconciliation and provider name stamp/print .
*Maintains CME units based on the requirements of the specifying Board if applicable .
*Maintains satisfactory peer reviews: able to assess medical information including pathophysiology, patient presentation, differential diagnosis etc… in order to facilitate health promotion and disease prevention.
*Participates in administrative duties: lab reports, charts and med refills reviewed and managed appropriately.
*Maintain a productivity expectation of 2.74 patients per hour .
*Meets clinic site and organization needs in a reliable and flexible manner .
*Prioritizes work and makes an effort to adhere to schedule.
Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations
*Board certified in area of specialty.
*DEA license.
*Graduate from an accredited school of medicine.
*Must possess current unrestricted Physician and Surgeon license to practice in the State of California if applicable.
*Traveling between sites and other locations is occasionally required. Must have a valid California driver’s license, an automobile, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended. An acceptable driving record is also required. California law requires all drivers to obtain a valid California driver’s license within ten days of establishing residency. Reasonable accommodation may be provided on a case-by-case basis. Mileage and other reimbursement governed by policy.

*A strong commitment to serve homeless and medically underserved families.
*At least one year experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
