Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years working with modern identity providers and enterprise IAM
- Hands-on experience with SAML, OIDC, SCIM and API-based provisioning workflows
- Proficiency authoring and managing Terraform for IAM-related infrastructure
- Administration and API integration experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack
- Familiarity with Zero Trust / BeyondCorp concepts and access controls
- Programming experience in Python, Ruby, or Go for automation and tooling
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer skills
- Ability to present technical viewpoints to cross-functional and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a strategy to centralize identity and access integrations across internal tooling
- Design and build self-service application onboarding and access request workflows
- Develop and maintain identity lifecycle automation and provisioning processes
- Integrate and administer IdP and SaaS platform APIs (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
- Implement and enforce best practices for Infra-as-Code (Terraform) for IAM infrastructure
- Document processes, teach the IT organization, and provide technical mentorship
- Serve as an escalation point for operations, troubleshooting complex identity incidents and performing license forecasting
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience in IAM or related disciplines accepted
