Job Summary
Are you passionate about cutting-edge technologies and looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact? As an engineer in our Managed Services Engineering (MSE) department, you will be at the forefront of innovation, helping to design, program, and maintain user interfaces, APIs, and automated processes for Exegy product deployment, configuration management, service health monitoring, and service management.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, deploy, and support software, configurations, and architectures for automated monitoring and management systems
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive project success
Provide feedback on software design and actively participate in code reviews
Analyze and optimize system performance to ensure peak efficiency
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues raised by customers and support teams in a timely and effective manner
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins) to streamline deployment and testing
Support and enhance critical operational processes such as provisioning, notifications, and customer support to ensure seamless service delivery
Design and develop automation frameworks and internal tools that improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity
Contribute to system monitoring and observability initiatives using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
5–7+ years of experience with strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript (or TypeScript)
Proficiency in Linux environments, including scripting experience in Bash or Perl
Hands-on experience with Docker and virtual machines; familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration a plus
Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or similar
Experience building, integrating, or consuming APIs
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong understanding of Git-based workflows, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative code reviews
Familiarity with Business Process Management and ITIL concepts
Experience using ServiceNow and/or Jira
Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, sockets, switching, routing, and NAT
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and concise documentation style
A proactive, self-motivated mindset with strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
Adaptability and a willingness to take ownership beyond your core responsibilities to ensure team and project success
