Job Description
- Operate automation systems to assist with the preparation of samples in a pharmaceutical testing lab
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on automation platforms
- Data entry into electronic systems
- Additional duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, buffer prep, vial fills, and delivering samples
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Strong computer, mechanical, and organizational skills
- Experience with automation systems including liquid handlers and labeling/sealing equipment
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
- 2-4 years of industry experience
Additional Information
- Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Base pay range: $22.96 - $25.13 per hour, based on degree and relevant experience level
