  • Assist in the development of novel controls solutions to achieve energy efficiency goals.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Mechanical Systems Optimization Specialist, Construction Manager and mechanical systems manufacturers to perform commissioning and start-ups on all systems and equipment, including boilers and chillers.
  • Train the client’s on-site staff in use and maintenance of newly installed mechanical systems.
  • Optimize the operation of new and existing equipment and systems to achieve peak efficiency.
  • Monitor completed projects to maintain energy savings during the follow-up period.

Your profile...
  • 3 to 9 years of experience in HVAC Building Automation Systems and installing mechanical systems such as air handlers and VAVs.
  • Experience in writing and troubleshooting programs controllers from leading integrators or manufacturers, such as Delta Controls, Distech Controls, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell etc.
  • Proven experience hiring and managing controls contractors.
  • Experience in reading and understanding mechanical sequence of operations.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware devices and wiring.
  • Daily travel on-site for performance monitoring, construction and commissioning phases.
