Skills
- 3+ years in SRE or similar operations role with demonstrable reliability and incident response experience
- Proficient in Python for scripting and automation
- Strong SQL skills and experience with transactional databases
- Familiarity with REST APIs and API integration troubleshooting
- Analytical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience with incident and change management processes
- Willingness and availability for flexible/nighttime hours and on-call coverage
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation and efficiency improvements for SRE workflows.
- Respond to technical escalations and participate in L2 on-call rotations, including nighttime coverage for US markets.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Adhere to and administer incident and change management policies and coordinate incident resolution efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and the New York office to align SRE practices across time zones.
- Maintain and operate monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks to ensure 24/7 platform stability.
- Support integration and troubleshooting of APIs and transactional database operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
