Senior Associate, New Verticals - Logistics Strategy & Operations

DoorDash’s New Verticals team builds and scales new same‑day delivery businesses (DashMart, Convenience, Alcohol, Grocery, Retail). The Logistics pod seeks a data‑driven Senior Associate to own cross‑functional initiatives that reduce cost, improve quality, and increase reliability across fulfillment and delivery operations. This individual will lead projects from strategy through execution, using analysis and experimentation to influence product, operations, and partner onboarding.

Skills

Strong SQL skills and ability to pull/analyze data independently
Advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis
Operational strategy and experiment design experience
Cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management
Comfort with ambiguity and fast‑paced execution
Ability to translate high‑level goals into actionable operational plans

Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end projects across acquisition, onboarding, and supply‑demand balancing to improve fulfillment quality and speed
Design and run operational experiments; translate results into scalable process or product changes
Perform quantitative analysis and financial impact modeling to guide strategy and prioritization
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Legal
Identify and implement efficiency opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving reliability
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and playbooks to standardize operations and enable stakeholders
Drive stakeholder alignment and influence cross‑org decisions as an individual contributor
Document learnings and scale repeatable solutions across markets and verticals

Education

Completed Bachelor’s Degree (required)
