- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license (NJ)
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with dental radiography and intraoral imaging
- Strong periodontal assessment and charting skills
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Accurate clinical documentation and electronic charting
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with dentists and team
Responsibilities
- Deliver concierge-level chairside hygiene care with excellent patient rapport and bedside manner
- Perform periodontal assessments and identify signs of disease or oral cancer
- Document detailed medical histories, chief complaints, and clinical findings accurately
- Capture and review x-rays and intraoral images to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide prophylaxis, scaling, root planing and hygiene procedures as prescribed by the dentist
- Manage in-office emergencies and follow appropriate emergency protocols
- Educate patients on at-home oral care and hygiene maintenance
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements
Education
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Active state RDH license (New Jersey)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
