About the role
The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives based in Austin. This person will oversee sales performance across the commercial segment, driving new business acquisition, expansion, and overall revenue growth. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience managing a B2B SaaS commercial sales team and has previously worked for a cybersecurity company. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can coach, motivate, and scale high-performing sellers in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
What you’ll do
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Commercial Account Executives focused on acquiring and expanding commercial accounts.
Hire, onboard, and develop team members to ensure consistent quota attainment and professional growth.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence within the Austin hub.
Drive effective pipeline generation, deal execution, and forecasting accuracy across the cybersecurity and SaaS commercial market.
Partner with Marketing, SDRs, and Sales Operations to align on lead generation, campaign strategy, and conversion metrics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering to ensure a seamless customer experience for security-focused buyers.
Analyze performance metrics and provide regular insights, forecasts, and recommendations to leadership.
Who you are
2–3 years of experience managing a B2B SaaS commercial sales team
Experience working for a cybersecurity company is required; familiarity with the security ecosystem and go-to-market models is a strong advantage.
Proven success leading a quota-carrying team to exceed revenue targets in a complex, technical sales environment.
Strong ability to hire, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals who can articulate value in security or data protection solutions.
Skilled in pipeline management, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; fosters motivation, accountability, and collaboration.
Comfortable working in a hybrid, in-person environment within the Austin hub.
