Professional Learning Specialist (ELA or Reading) – Biliterate Spanish - California

Curriculum Associates is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist with expertise in ELA or Reading, preferably biliterate in Spanish, to facilitate professional development and support educational initiatives across California. This role is ideal for educators transitioning from the classroom, allowing them to impact learning for K–8 students.

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include providing targeted professional development, supporting biliteracy initiatives, collaborating with school district leaders, and delivering tailored classroom coaching.

The ideal candidate has a background in teaching and/or coaching ELA or Reading, as well as experience leading professional development with school and district leaders. This position will support biliteracy service offerings for Spanish-speaking educators and others supporting various dual-language models. Facilitating Professional Learning in English and in Spanish will be a requirement of the role. Successful candidates will show flexibility and synergy with different team members including our Sales team, teachers, students, and school districts as part of day-to-day interactions. The Professional Learning Specialist will be responsible for providing targeted professional development, ongoing in-classroom support, data analysis, daily project management, and communication with district and site leaders. Dynamic, engaging leaders who are interested in making a lasting and direct impact with the way schools teach ELA/Reading to students from grades K–8 are encouraged to apply.
