Medical Assistant at Curai
Curai Health Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our remote clinical team, working our weekend shift (Every Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT). This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, virtual-first primary care to patients across the country. As a Medical Assistant, you’ll support clinicians by managing follow-ups, coordinating care, and helping patients navigate their healthcare experience through a chat-based platform.
Our clinical model is powered by AI-enhanced tools and EHRs, allowing us to provide efficient, thoughtful care 24/7/365. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment, is tech-savvy, and passionate about improving access to care.

What You'll Do
• Support clinicians with patient coordination tasks including but not limited to:
-Pharmacy communication and prescription support
-Referrals and prior authorizations
-Scheduling and follow-up outreach
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication
• Document tasks and communications in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Identify workflow issues and escalate when needed
• Participate in team huddles and quality initiativesOther duties as assigned
What You'll Need
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience as a medical assistant
• 1+ year of telemedicine experience
• Commitment to our weekend shift schedule: Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT
• Confidence working independently and handling high-volume patient interactions
• Comfort with evolving technology, including AI-powered tools and digital platforms
• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

The pay range for this position is between $18-22/hr. Please note that the pay range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
