Could you be our next Director, Business Strategy, Technology Enabled Science & POE? The job is in our King of Prussia, PA and Melbourne Australia office. This is a hybrid position and is onsite three days a week. You will report to the Head R&D Strategic Externalization & Business Operations.

You will coordinate R&D-wide contracting activities in partnership with Enterprise Sourcing and resource capacity planning for business alignment.​

The Role

• Manage CRO partnerships across clinical trials​​
• Communicate with Sourcing, Legal to support R&D specific contracting needs​​
• Manage centralized templates, SOW libraries, R&D contracting plans and guidance​​
• Align with BSLs supporting contracting & resource capacity planning.​​
• Monitor R&D contract cycle time and escalate delays​​
• Track contract performance and cycle time​​
• Lead partner/vendor governance and performance reviews​​
• Partner with legal for compliance on R&D clauses and risks​​
• Guide BSLs and responsibilities on SOW requirements and intake forms​​
• Align with finance & HR to establish & manage resource planning, authorization & tracking.​

Qualifications

• Bachelor's business or operations field​​
• 12+ years in R&D contracts, procurement, or R&D vendor management​​
• Knowledge of CRO/vendor management​​
• Experience with SOW development and legal terms​​
• Experience with enterprise sourcing models​​
