Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst / Operations Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the partners on both investment diligence and portfolio company operations. The intern will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of investing: from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities, to supporting live transactions, to helping drive growth at our operating businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Diligence: Assist in financial analysis, industry research, and data requests for live investment opportunities.
Market Analysis: Research fragmented industries (e.g., home services, healthcare services, consumer services) to identify attractive subsectors and potential acquisition targets.
Transaction Support: Build financial models, review CIMs, prepare investment memos, and support negotiations.
Portfolio Operations: Partner with management teams on strategic projects (e.g., pricing, procurement, financial reporting, marketing strategy).
Strategic Decision Support: Help drive internal decision-making by synthesizing research and providing structured recommendations.
Qualifications
Strong academic performance (undergraduate or graduate program in business, finance, economics, or related fields).
Demonstrated interest in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or operating businesses.
Analytical rigor and comfort working with Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information.
Entrepreneurial mindset, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, small-team environment.
