Electrical Engineer, Construction (Starlink)
Skills
- Proficiency in electrical design for commercial and industrial power systems.
- Knowledge of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor controls, and building lighting systems.
- Experience with critical power infrastructure including UPS, generators, and ATS.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit.
- Strong understanding of National Electric Code, NFPA standards, and International Building Code.
- Ability to read power and control schematics and O&M manuals.
- Experience with VFDs, industrial pumps, MODBUS communication, medium-voltage distribution, and control panel design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for company projects.
- Develop and issue design drawings, documentation, and reports for aerospace and industrial projects.
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through project close-out.
- Resolve field design and construction conflicts in real-time.
- Coordinate with electrical utility providers to ensure reliable power service.
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Provide code review and analysis per NFPA, NEC, and IBC standards.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
