Senior Manager, Marketing Compliance - job 1 of 2

Chime is a consumer-focused fintech on a mission to help everyday Americans achieve financial progress. We are hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing Compliance to lead and scale the Marketing Compliance team, build proactive advisory models, enable compliant go-to-market velocity, and partner closely with Marketing, Product, Legal, and external bank partners to manage regulatory and reputational risk.

Skills

Subject matter expertise in consumer financial marketing compliance (UDAAP, Reg Z, Reg DD, FCRA)
Experience building or optimizing compliance review systems and intake/CMS processes
Proven ability to lead and scale high-volume compliance advisory functions
Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills for non-legal stakeholders
Familiarity with direct and third-party marketing compliance across digital and offline channels
Experience leveraging automation and AI tools to scale compliance reviews
Risk assessment and regulatory interpretation skills

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high-performing Marketing/Product Compliance team that reviews and advises on marketing and member communications across channels
Embed compliance early in the product lifecycle to enable product velocity and scalable solutions
Develop and communicate clear product and compliance requirements to mitigate risk
Design and implement AI tools, automation, and workflows to improve speed, consistency, and quality of reviews
Conduct risk-based compliance assessments for new and existing products
Serve as a thought partner to Product, Engineering, and Business leaders on novel financial product design
Manage documentation, change management, and regulatory traceability
Maintain relationships with partner bank compliance and legal teams

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Advanced degree or legal/compliance certification (preferred but not required)
