Overview

The role of the masters level social worker is to identify and intervene with at-risk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care outcomes. Social workers provide services to children, adolescents, and adult patients/families/staff at Children's Mercy and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members.

 

This role will support our emergency department and after hours services.

If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (MSW from Accredited Program) and
    • 1-2 years experience
  • LMSW KS Licensed Master's Social Worker KS - must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR
  • LMSW MO Licensed Master's Social Worker MO - must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR
  • LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO - must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR
  • LSCSW KS Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS - must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.25/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
