About the Role
As we continue to rapidly expand our business at Cherry, we're looking to hire multiple founding Technical Recruiters to join our recruiting team and help us build out a US based engineering team.
The ideal candidate has the proven ability to find and attract A-players across Engineering and Product roles. This is a remote position with occasional travel for team off-sites and bi-annual company retreat.
Responsibilities
Plan, initiate, and execute strategic sourcing to build robust candidate pipelines
Identify top performing candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, networking, etc)
Interact with potential candidates on professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Handshake and Indeed), niche job boards, and leveraging our current employee networks
Conduct initial screenings, technical assessments, and coordinate interview processes
Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand their hiring needs and proactively translate that into a positive candidate and interviewer experience
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, sourcing activities, and recruitment metrics using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other tools
Report on data, historical knowledge, and industry trends to help drive more effective recruiting strategies
Assist hiring managers will scheduling and coordinating interviews
Reach out to potential candidates through email, phone calls, social media, and other communication channels to introduce job opportunities and establish initial contact when needed
Work on projects that improve and streamline the recruitment process during off-hiring quarters
Execute initiatives with scope beyond your job description as needed
Qualifications
Proven top performer - 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in a start up environment as a top 10% performer
Ruthless screener - Experience using LinkedIn boolean searches to find the best possible talent
Expert closer - Provides an exceptional candidate experience and strong ability to sell the company and role
Think like an owner - Independent worker and self starter in a remote work environment
Creative thinker - Ability to come up with new ways to executive and get stuff done
Team player - Experience at an early-stage company with a broad array of assigned responsibilities
Nice to haves - Experience using Gem and Ashby
