Responsibilities
The Wound Care Coordinator provides specialized nursing care for patients with acute and chronic wounds under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, NP, PA. The Wound Care Coordinator assists in wound assessments, dressing changes, documentation, and implementation of wound care plans in accordance with established policies and regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong clinical observation skills, adherence to infection control practices, and collaborative communication with the healthcare team
