Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel on AI development, digital content licensing, copyright, and trademark management, while actively monitoring evolving regulations and supporting internal governance.
Skills: Juris Doctor (JD) with 3-5 years in intellectual property law, technology, and AI, alongside strong communication and business judgment skills.
Qualifications: In-house experience at a tech or media company is preferred, with a deep understanding of legal frameworks surrounding copyright, IP, and data usage rights.
Location: Virtual, USA; specifically in Massachusetts, United States of America
Compensation: $138200 - $179650 / Annually

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Counsel – AI, Digital Content & Intellectual Property to join our growing Legal team. This role will focus on providing legal advice and business-oriented solutions on a wide range of issues related to artificial intelligence (AI), digital content, copyright, and trademark. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in copyright and intellectual property law, with a strong understanding of the developing legal landscape surrounding AI LLM development, AI-generated content in commercial products, licensing, and brand protection. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, engineering, content, marketing, and operations to proactively manage risk and support innovation.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program. This position's bonus target amount, which is not guaranteed and is dependent on individual performance and overall company results among other factors, is provided below.
25% Annual: Individual Target$138,200.00 - $179,650.00 USD
