- Location: Alameda (Oakland), Bay Area in California.
- 5 days work from office
- Lead data profiling and auditing efforts at scale to identify and address data quality issues.
- Design and refine data quality rules and processes to maintain data integrity.
- Resolve complex data issues that span across multiple systems and domains.
- Maintain and manage cross-domain metadata to ensure data consistency.
- Take ownership of the data issue backlog, driving issues to resolution.
- Partner with IT, data engineering, and various business units to address data issues and gaps.
- Coordinate with product owners and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data quality rules.
- Approve limited-scope defect remediation and recommend changes to data processes and tool enhancements.
- Technical Skills: o Advanced proficiency in SQL. o Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau. o Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis. o Familiarity with workflow management tools. o Awareness of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and API/ETL processes.
- Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills. o A proactive and methodical approach to data management
