Job Description
- Engineer new product designs for international manufacture through Solidworks 3D modelling. Concepts will be presented to engineering department from Design department
- Self-manage development process from start to finish with guidance from manager
- Create 2D drawing packages for manufacture using Solidworks
- Prototype and test new products with emphasis on manufacturability
- Generate support documents ie. install guides, marketing collateral
- Organise and maintain shared product files within company intranet
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and personal skills
- Professional, organised, logical and efficient manner
- Accountability for tasks and ensuring that timelines are met
- Proficient in Solidworks 3D modelling and 2D drawing
- Experience with Adobe Suite (particularly Illustrator)
- Experience in Manufacturing – Ideally knowledge in CNC programming
- Degree in Engineering
Additional Information
Salary: $95,000-$105,000
