- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Minimum three years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong subject-matter knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams
- Classroom management and curriculum development experience
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled classroom and laboratory instruction in aircraft maintenance theory and practical skills
- Develop and refine curriculum and course materials in collaboration with campus leadership
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and student success
- Maintain accurate academic and attendance records and submit required documentation
- Ensure classroom and lab safety; maintain tools and equipment inventory
- Participate in faculty meetings, in-service trainings, classroom observations, and instructor evaluations
- Monitor student attendance and retention indicators, and notify supervisors of issues
- Complete assigned administrative tasks and projects as directed by supervisors
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred
