Skills
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment across software, data, OT, and manufacturing teams.
- Design, deploy, and operate distributed systems across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code/automation (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with event-driven architectures, message brokers (Kafka, MQTT, NATS) and IoT systems.
- Strong foundation in data engineering, time-series data management, telemetry, and semantic/ontology-driven modeling.
- Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with observability stacks and CI/CD practices.
- Networking, security, and access control knowledge in regulated environments (NNPI/ITAR familiarity preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own and drive a portfolio of digital technology projects from prototype through production readiness and operational transition.
- Architect and integrate systems that link software, hardware, and operational workflows in manufacturing and production environments.
- Design and deploy event-driven, containerized services with observability, version control, rollback, and SLOs.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and telemetry infrastructure integrated with unified namespaces and event brokers.
- Define and govern integration contracts, APIs, and schemas for interoperability and safety with cross-functional teams.
- Implement automation pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and recovery to ensure high availability and resilience.
- Lead field deployments and stabilization efforts, tuning telemetry and reliability under operational conditions.
- Contribute to time-series and ontology-based data models to contextualize operational and digital systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
