Responsibilities
- Design scalable scientific solutions using computer vision and document understanding to evaluate evidence authenticity during trip issues
- Develop proactive, explainable fraud detection systems leveraging multimodal signals, embeddings, and deep learning
- Optimize payments and automate workflows through AI-driven decision augmentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into machine learning models and quantify impact
- Develop, productionize, and maintain machine learning models for batch and real-time use cases involving structured and unstructured data
- Present progress regularly to technical and product stakeholders and contribute to Airbnb’s scientific community outreach
Education
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math or related field
