Fraud Operations Performance Associate II

Affirm is a fintech company reinventing credit to be honest and transparent. The Fraud Operations Performance Associate II will focus on improving label accuracy and overall case quality across internal fraud teams and external vendors, partnering with QA and leadership to identify knowledge gaps, drive coaching and training improvements, and provide actionable feedback backed by analysis.

Skills

3+ years of fraud experience (preferably fintech)
1+ year of quality assurance experience (preferably fintech)
Strong analytical skills to detect trends and root causes
Experience with fraud and identity tools (Salesforce, TLO, TransUnion, LexisNexis, Ekata, Emailage, Looker, Snowflake, Netverify, Onfido)
Ability to work independently and manage projects
Excellent written and verbal communication for feedback and documentation
Attention to detail and commitment to high accuracy

Responsibilities

Analyze QA results and case work to identify knowledge gaps and accuracy issues
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Fraud Operations leadership to strengthen training and coaching programs
Regularly monitor, evaluate and provide feedback to internal teams and external vendors on performance and labeling accuracy
Document findings, escalate systemic issues to leadership, and track remediation
Stay current on fraud trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform prevention efforts
Maintain expected daily case volume with an individual accuracy score of 98%+
Dedicate approximately 20% of time to hands-on production work to remain current on workflows and trends
Be punctual, responsive, and reliably available in a remote work setting

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
Relevant equivalent experience accepted
