Acelero Learning is seeking a dedicated Food Services & Nutrition Coordinator to promote the health and well-being of children and families in their Head Start program by leading nutrition initiatives and ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Responsibilities: Oversee nutrition services, conduct health assessments, develop integrated care plans, ensure menu compliance, maintain health records, and provide training and support to staff and families.
Skills: Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist credential, strong communication and collaboration skills, supervisory experience, knowledge of nutrition standards and regulations.
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, ability to travel locally or long-distance up to 10%, valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

As the Nutrition Coordinator, you will oversee nutrition services across multiple centers, ensuring adherence to Head Start Performance Standards, CACFP regulations, and internal nutrition policies. You will guide nutrition-related assessments, develop Integrated Care Plans (ICPs), support children with dietary or health needs, and equip families with knowledge to build healthy habits at home. Through collaboration, coaching, and ongoing monitoring, you will help create safe, inclusive, and nutrition-forward environments for all children enrolled in our program.
