This position will leverage your knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern security solutions to build and maintain customer-facing technical assets. These assets will enable demos and hands-on learning programs for our customers. You will be working closely with the product engineers who build the products and marketing managers who go to market with the product. Internally, you’ll work with fellow subject matter experts and developers in creating, testing, operationalizing and supporting your content to be distributed to end users at scale.

This role requires you to manage your time and workload to meet customer and project requirements and deadlines. You will own your projects from start to finish, with direction of your manager or more likely, project team, when needed. You will do the following in your day-to-day operations:

• Build scalable cloud-hosted solutions for demonstrating features and benefits of our customers’ products and services.
• Thoroughly understand the technical and business aspects of customers’ products and features prior to building out the solutions.
• Work as a member of a cross-functional, cross-organizational virtual team.
• Stay on the cutting edge of technology evolution in the Microsoft cloud services as a subject matter expert within the company.
• Interact with fellow team members, project managers, and stakeholders to discuss strategies, architecture, and implementation plans.
• Build robust automation and monitoring solutions using modern platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Power Platform to minimize manual interaction and maximize system stability, usability, and security.
• Monitor and respond to work items or incoming support tickets related to supported solutions.

This is a full-time role, offering great exposure to the latest hybrid cloud technologies. This is a mid-career level position, ideally suited for someone with 4-6 years of IT Professional experience managing or administering cloud, on-premises, and network infrastructures. Prior experience working in an IT or infrastructure administration setting, preferably in a security or SecOps capacity, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have most of the following qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience working directly with external customers to solve complex, cloud-based security infrastructure problems. 
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies and understanding technical details with an ability to translate complex features into an effective and compelling story.
• Experience managing and deploying infrastructures for security, XDR and SIEM solutions.
• Experience with the Microsoft cloud identity and security solutions, such as: Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Intune.
• Prior experience using scripts (PowerShell, ARM deployment templates, Azure CLI).
• Experience configuring, baselining and automating virtual devices or VM deployments.

The following skills are highly desirable or expected after 6-12 months on the job:

• Building automations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, and Power Automate.
• Fluency with the Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell scripts to develop applications for, or automate tasks in Microsoft online products, especially the Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, and related security products.
• Ability to write and deploy infrastructure as a code (IaC, such as Terraform) targeting tenancies in Microsoft 365 and Azure. 

Salary: This is a full-time, salaried exempt position starting at $110,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Benefits: 3Sharp pays 90% of employee insurance premiums (medical, dental, vision) and offers a 401(k) match. New employees accrue 4 weeks of PTO in their first year and receive 9 paid holidays.

Remote Operations & Business Hours: 3Sharp is based in Bothell, WA, and operates primarily as a remote workplace. Occasional in-person meetings may be scheduled by management. We prefer applicants who live in Washington State but are open to exceptional candidates from nearby states such as Oregon, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. Our core business hours follow Pacific Standard Time (PST) to support collaboration and consistency.
