The RevOps Systems Architect is a strategic leader and systems thinker who will manage and mentor a team of RevOps Systems Managers while guiding the design and optimization of the architecture that supports 1Password’s entire lead-to-renewal process.
You’ll drive the vision for our go-to-market systems ecosystem, ensuring cohesive data flow, robust governance, and seamless integration across CRM, CPQ, Customer Operations, and analytics platforms.
In this role, you’ll combine architectural expertise with people leadership, empowering your team to execute, scale, and continuously improve the systems that enable our revenue operations.
What to expect:
Lead and develop a team of RevOps Systems Managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development to ensure a high-performing, motivated team.
Define and evolve the RevOps systems architecture, setting standards for integrations, data flows, and governance frameworks across Salesforce, CPQ, Customer Operations, and analytics platforms.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Data, and Customer Success to translate business goals (pipeline growth, retention, forecasting accuracy) into scalable technical architectures and measurable outcomes.
Establish data governance and security standards, ensuring compliance, consistency, and access control across all GTM systems.
Oversee system integration design (API-based, middleware, event-driven) to maintain data accuracy and scalability.
Drive architectural decisions supporting quote-to-cash, renewal, and amendment processes, emphasizing automation and resilience.
Create and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and best practices to promote scalability, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate on CI/CD and release management strategies in partnership with Engineering and IT to maintain reliability and security.
Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership, communicating trade-offs, scalability considerations, and roadmap implications in business-friendly terms.
Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to optimize the RevOps stack and advance team capabilities.
What we're looking for:
7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Systems Architecture, or Solution Architecture, including at least 2 years of people management experience leading systems or operations teams.
Proven experience designing and integrating GTM systems, including Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, Marketo, Salesforce CPQ, billing, and/or ERP.
Deep understanding of the revenue lifecycle, from marketing attribution through lead routing, opportunity management, quoting, billing, and renewals.
Hands-on expertise in API integrations, middleware (Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi), and data orchestration.
Strong data modeling, governance, and identity resolution experience across multiple systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git-based version control, and release pipelines for enterprise applications.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical requirements into simple, scalable, and maintainable architectures.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, you can align business and technical teams effortlessly.
A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset; thrives in a high-growth agile environment.
Previous experience at a SaaS company.
Salesforce CPQ or similar Quote-to-Cash systems certification.
Nice to have:
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture (CDC, streaming) and data pipelines.
Experience managing globally distributed technical teams.
Previous experience at a security-focused or SaaS company.

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $126,000 USD and $170,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $114,000 CAD and $154,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
